Bethany Cosentino is an American musician and the frontperson of Best Coast.

Overview

Best Coast opened for Weezer at Gibson Amphitheatre for the first two concerts on the Memories Tour in November of 2010. During Weezer's set, Cosentino accompanied Rivers Cuomo on lead vocals for the song "Island in the Sun."

Cosentino co-wrote and sang lead vocals on "Go Away," which was released on Weezer's 2014 album, Everything Will Be Alright in the End. She is among a small number of guest vocalists to be featured on a Weezer album track, sharing that affiliation with Rachel Haden, Lil Wayne, Roberta Freeman, Amrita Sen and Nishat Khan. Cosentino also sang the track at several concerts on the 2014 Tour and the EWBAITE Tour.
