Cinder Block was a music merchandising, licensing, and management company formed in 1989 by Jeffery Bischop and Cynthia Morgan.[1] It served as Weezer's primary merchandise distributor, beginning in 2001. The company was temporarily dropped in 2008 and replaced with Bravado, but again signed by the band in November 2010 during the Memories era.[2] Weezer permanently left the company in 2013, working with Onelive for much of the 2010s and switching to Manhead around 2017, who remains the band's current merchandise distributor. Cinder Block additionally worked with numerous Weezer-related bands in the early 2000s, including the Special Goodness, the Space Twins, AM Radio, and Ozma. The company's primary output consisted of T-shirts and apparel, however releases under its management additionally included accessories such as pins, stickers, and keychains, as well as miscellaneous branded items such as watches, lunch boxes, and license plate frames.
