Dinosaur Jr. is an American indie rock band founded in 1987. They have performed lived with Weezer on multiple occasions, and in 2024 Karl Koch referred to them as one of the band's "heroes."[1]

Dinosaur Jr. headlined the first Weezer Cruise, receiving the second highest billing on the cruise's promotional material under Weezer. They also served as an opening act during the Voyage to the Blue Planet Tour alongside the Flaming Lips.
