2010/03/03 Indaba Contest, Yo Gabba, Carson, more

...REMINDER: Indaba Contest in its final week! Weezer fans and fellow musicians: visit Indaba Music to remix Weezer’s song “Love Is the Answer.” Weezer is seeking a “global version” of the track from their recent release Raditude, with a public vote determining the top 10 winners to receive a signed copy of the new album and be featured on weezer.com and www.myspace.com/weezer. The Grand Prize winner will also have the opportunity to participate in a one-on-one Indaba collaboration with frontman Rivers Cuomo to create an entirely new song. The original track can be previewed along with the transformed Hindi version on the contest page at www.indabamusic.com/remixweezer. Contest ends March 9, get in now!

...Yo Gabba Gabba, at last! Coming up next Tuesday, March 9 – the Yo! Gabba Gabba episode: “Bugs” – Weezer performs an original Yo Gabba Gabba! song, "All My Friends Are Insects", and Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo is featured in his “Mark’s Magic Pictures” segment. The episode also features a special remix segment arranged by Travis Barker.

...Weezer on 'Carson Daly Cover Week' - Weezer's medley of MGMT/Lady GaGa will be airing on Carson Daly next Thursday March 11th!

...Not sure how long this has been available, but here's a cool mash-up/remix of "Say it Ain't So" by MC Chris: MC Chris vs Weezer, "Say I Ain't Falynn". With all new vocals and lyrics by MC Chris, inspired by my niece's cool name!
