2011/03/29 Show Announcement: Nano-Mugen Festival, Japan
...folks, another addition to the weezer concert calendar - on Saturday, July 16th, weezer will play at the Nano-Mugen Festival in Yokohama, Japan! This festival takes place at the Yokohama Arena (near Tokyo) and the 2 day festival also features the Manic Street Preachers, Asian Kung-Fu Generation and many many more. The Ticket preorder has started today through April 12 (see the site for details, theres a lottery system) and the regular sale begins June 14.

Even though the festival is quite a ways away from now, there will surely still be a ton of recovery work to do by then in the Northern part of Japan from the unprecedented earthquake disaster. Hopefully a great summer rock festival will help brighten peoples spirits as they continue to deal with the unimaginable.
