2010/04/05 Denver! Reading/Leeds, more....

...We are happy to announce more 2010 Weezer tour dates - first off: Denver Colorado August 15th at the Mile High Music Festival! Tickets are going onsale this coming Saturday April 10th, at 10AM Mountain Time. See www.milehighmusicfestival.com for more details.

Also, Weezer is most pleased to be returning to England this summer, for the Reading and Leeds festivals. Weezer will be on the main stages - Leeds on Saturday August 28th, and Reading Sunday, August 29th.

This is pretty significant stuff, as Weezer sadly hasn't been in the UK since 2005, on the Make Believe Tour. I think the last gig was in Edinburgh If Im not mistaken...I recall checking out some sort of nighttime carnival dealy with Brian after the show, sampling the music, food and Irn Bru with some friendly locals as our guides. Anyway, Its been too long, and we're all stoked to get back to ol' Blighty once again!

Some intrepid UK fans have asked if there are any weezer headlining gigs planned this go-round in addition to the Reading/Leeds gigs. By the way the travel schedule is starting to shape up, I am going to have to say no, not on this particular trip. Beyond this summer, we shall see what develops.
