Weezer Cruise Onboard Activity Update

The second theme night is… 80s Prom Night!

Do you love the 80s as much as we do? We’re time-traveling back to the days when MTV actually played videos and everyone had just a little bit (…or a lot) of neon in their wardrobe.

Join us in showing your 80s pride with teased hair, puff-sleeves, and all the taffeta you can handle! Mix that with some of your favorite 80s hits from Journey, Michael Jackson, Madonna and more! Come dressed to impress – because we’ll be choosing a prom court and ending the night by naming the king and queen!

More Band-Hosted Activities

‘80s Karaoke: You’ve been watching your favorite bands all day long – now it’s YOUR turn to be the star. Jose from Ozma will be your host for ‘80s Karaoke! You’ll already be all dressed up in your ‘80s garb for Prom Night, so why not live a little and belt out your favorite ‘80s hit in front of your adoring fans?

Yoga: Oooooommmmm. Better practice your planks and brush up on your downward dog, because we’re bringing you Yoga with Star from Ozma! Take a quick break from rocking your face off to increase your flexibility, balance and strengthen your mental focus – be at one with the universe. Or something like that.

Flip Cup: We’re invading the high seas with the craziest Flip Cup Tournament you’ve ever seen! The Knocks will be your hosts, and they have already started their flip cup training (yes, seriously), so beware – you’re in for some fierce competition! The tournament will consist of 32 teams of your fellow shipmates, so get ready for some flippin’ fun. Get your team of 6 together, pick a team name (and maybe even a uniform if you’re REALLY serious) and practice your skills. Information on how to sign up will be announced in the near future.

Be sure to check the schedule (www.theweezercruise.com/schedule) page on the cruise website to stay up-to-date with the latest activity additions!

Cruise FAQ
We’re taking our most commonly asked questions answering them for you right in this email. If everyone else is wondering it, maybe you are too!

Can I bring my kids?
Of course! Carnival will still run its Camp Carnival, Circle "C", and Club O2 programs for kids up to 17 years old, and will offer babysitting for an additional charge. Please click here for complete details. (http://www.carnival.com/cms/fun/obx/youth_experience/campcarnival.aspx)

How does the dining work onboard?
Carnival will offer Open Seating in the formal dining rooms each night, which means you can dine at your leisure during their operating hours. If you want to sit with specific people for dinner, you should simply arrive together at the dining room. The dining room staff will then seat your group at a table.

To best accommodate seating a group together, please arrive on time, as tables may fill up and large groups may not be able to be accommodated all at one table.

Keep in mind if you can’t make it to the “formal” dining rooms while dinner is being served, the buffet is always a great option! There’s never a lack of food onboard, that’s for sure! How do the indoor Weezer shows work?

When making your reservation, you selected either Show 1 or Show 2 and also chose the zone you want to sit in. Approximately 4-6 weeks prior to the cruise, we will email your exact seating assignment to you, which will contain a row and seat number. Your entire cabin will be sat together. The floor in the Palladium Lounge will be “Standing Room Only” – meaning you’ll still have an assigned spot, but you’ll need to stand up in order to see the show. (If you look at the photo as a reference, you’ll be standing in the floor space between the benches – the small tables will be removed. Have photo of lounge to put in this section.) If you chose seats in the balcony, you’ll have your own individual theater-style seat.

You will receive your show ticket when you check in at the port in Miami, along with your room key. There will be a Box Office onboard if you have questions or need help with your show seating once you’ve boarded the ship.

We’ve got even more news for you soon so stay tuned!
