09/25/04 it's gettin' the flumpy

...summer recording session, day 52. Today Pat, Brian and Scott recorded their parts onto another additional song by playing along with Rivers's demo parts, in the same manner as yesterday. Then there was much discussion and a desicion was made to try yet another song, only this time recording it from scratch with the plan being to pursue it if it turned out good. This song was originally written and worked on in '03, making it as far as the December '03 recording sessions (now scrapped) and some additional Rivers demo-ing in spring '04. Basically the guys really loved this song and wanted to give it another chance before the album was 'locked up'. So they gave it a go. And it sounded pretty damn cool, in my opinion!
