The show time for the Weezer concert taking place at NOKIA Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX on Tuesday, October 21st has moved from 8PM to 7:30PM. This has been done to accommodate the length of the show which includes two support bands. Doors will open at 6:30PM. TOKYO POLICE CLUB will take the stage at 7:30PM and they will be followed by ANGELS AND AIRWAVES and then WEEZER with the show ending about 11:20PM. Back in big ol' Texas, where the stars shine bright! Specifically Austin, home of SXSW, U of T, and hell of good BBQ. The Lone Star peeps came down to U of T's Frank Erwin Center (aka "The Superdrum") in search of a good time, and the Tokyo/Angels/Weez machine delivered a party that would do ol' Frank Erwin proud.

Say, if you were in the audience at the Frank Erwin and happened to witness a rather unusual appearence of Rivers between the Tokyo and Angels sets, and you happened to capture any photos or video clips of the event, and you are willing to share them for the greater good of the universe, contact me (email by clicking the 'Karls Corner' bar above) and lets do this! Thanks!

Shout outs to Ian from the Euerka Farm days, Pat's budrow Greg C. and his boy, and BIG UPS to SPC Donald Davis, a soldier stationed at Ft. Hood who had recently spent well over a year in the thickest of things in Iraq. Donald said "You have no idea how many of us guys over there have depended on your music to get us through! I don't know what I would have done over there without Weezer to keep me going!" Donald, Weezer salutes you and your fellow soldiers for your brave service and is proud to have you back Stateside and in the audience tonight!

...Okay, so these 2 cool kids from Portland have this cool video show about music called "The Mike And Joey Jesus Show", and they won a 94.7 contest to do a mini-documentary on Weezer. I guided them around backstage at the PDX show and they did some interviews with band members and such, and they turned it into a cool 20 min video show, that you can watch here. Enjoy!

...Weezer tribute band crossover alert! Georgia band El Scorcho sez: "If you plan on coming to the Weezer concert at Gwinnett Center on Oct 25, why not come a day early on Oct 24 to see El Scorcho perform at Sweetwater Bar and Grill? We'll have a limited edition of our new single to give out! Plus El Scorcho will be on stage with Weezer during the hootenanny segment at the concert on Oct 25 at Gwinnett Center! How cool is that?"
