Overview

"Sunshine" was recorded in August of 1998 at TK Productions & Rehearsal Studios in Los Angeles (one of several "TK demos" from this period). It is distinct from another song of the same name listed in the Catalog O' Riffs, recorded in late 1998 or early 1999. Cuomo's "Grand File" lists the song with the accompanying date of August 4, 1998, but it is unknown if this date corresponds to the recording of the song. "Sunshine" was one of hundreds of demo recordings leaked through the demo storefront on riverscuomo.com on November 7, 2020, before it was released officially as part of the demo compilation Alone VI: The Black Room on November 22.
