About Me
Hey, I'm Justin. I attend Port Huron High School and play on their football team. I consider myself an music nut and enjoy collecting vinyl. Also, my dad and I build hovercrafts together for cruising and racing as well. I like to excel in everything I do, whether it be sports, academics, music, etc.
I see myself as a very independent person. I take music very seriously and hate MTV with a passion. I believe they have ruined creativity and independence for America. I play guitar, bass, and the drums and seriously consider myself a musician regardless of what people say. My music page can be found Here
Intro to Weezer
I got into Weezer when I was 6 years old and my dad played me the Buddy Holly video from the Windows 95 CD. I heard the song a year later on the radio and had remembered loving the video, and asked Santa for a copy of the album that Christmas, and ever since then I've been hooked. For the record, I am fully aware of santa's non-existence. Just puttin' that out there.
I had listened to weezer excessively until the 6th grade. They were my #1 and nothing compared. I even remember having burned cds I listen to on the bus in 4th grade with tracks like Blast Off, Longtime Sunshine, and Chess that I had gotten from weezerworld.tk (no longer existing).
I experienced a falling out in 2006 and started listening to more indie bands like Dinosaur Jr. and Sebadoh. For some reason they didn't tick for me anymore. I couldn't even force myself to listen to Weezer. I had burned myself out.
It wasn't until I had heard plans of a new album and the release of Alone that I had begun to enjoy them again. I actually have AlbumSix.com to thank for bringing me back. I'm going strong once again.
