"Jamie" is the fourth track from the deluxe edition of Weezer's self-titled debut album and is a b-side to Buddy Holly. It was written by Rivers Cuomo for Jamie Young, who was the band's lawyer at the time of their signing to Geffen. The band was extremely grateful for Jamie Young because she cared about the band and made certain that they were treated fairly. The song was written as a thank you. Matt Sharp has also written a song for Jamie, which Rivers helped him record called "Mrs. Young". Jamie is currently an attorney at the law firm of Ziffren, Brittenham, Branca, Fischer, Gilbert-Lurie, Stiffelman, Cook, Johnson, Lande & Wolf LLP in Los Angeles, California.
