Overview

"Transported" was written by Rivers Cuomo in November 1991 as part of the "50 Song Project"[1] collaboration between Cuomo and Pat Wilson, wherein the two planned to write fifty songs before attempting to form any new bands. The song eventually became a part of a cassette tape titled Weezer (made prior to the formation of the band of the same name). The song is an instrumental (with some vocalizations) and, according to Karl Koch, "might not count as one of the 50."[1] The song was among hundreds of Cuomo's demos leaked online on November of 2020, and was later released as part of the digital compilation Alone V: Before Weezer.
