Overview
"When You're near Me" is a short, acapella, doo-wop-style song. Though the song was unheard in full by fans for many years, the first three seconds were tacked onto the end of the MP3 of "Comin' Home (Left My Broken Heart in Carolina)", released online in 2002. The full version was released as part of Alone IV: The Blue-Pinkerton Years in November of 2020.
Lyrics
When you're near me, my baby
It always drives me crazy
When you're near me, my darling
It burns me up inside
When you're near me, my baby
It always drives me crazy
When you're near me, my baby
It burns me up inside
