"Who You Callin' Bitch?" is a song written by Rivers Cuomo intended to be on the scrapped rock opera, Songs from the Black Hole. Before the song was officially released, Rivers was prohibited by Geffen Records from releasing his demos. To loophole this, and allow fans to hear the song, Rivers released the sheet music for the song.
Karl Koch described the song as being “slow but huge, rocking.” "Who You Callin' Bitch?" was officially released on Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo
In the song, like "You Won't Get with Me Tonight", Maria becomes angry after she hears Dondó call her a bitch in "Blast Off!". Jonas attempts to calm her down.
|This was an interstitial piece from The Black Hole to be sung by one of the female leads, a character named "Maria", the "bad" girl.
The Ship Cook, Maria, walks in. She obviously has some kind of history with Jonas. Dondó suggests that Jonas can still score with her. Maria overheads this and explodes in anger at Dondó's language.
Who you callin' bitch?
Oh Maria, they don't mean it
Don't listen to them
Oh, they make me so mad and you do nothing
Nothing to stop them
Please Maria, they mean nothing
Now you must chill out
He acts like he knows that he has a big dick
I despise him
