April 26 - Weezer kicked off their tour in support of Make Believe in Vancouver, BC, Canada at the Commodore Ballroom.
April 27 - Weezer performs in Seattle, WA at the Moore Theater in support of Make Believe
April 29 - Weezer performs in San Francisco, CA at the Warfield Theater in support of Make Believe
April 30 - Weezer performs at the Coachella Festival in support of Make Believe

May 3 - Weezer performs in Minneapolis, MN at First Avenue in support of Make Believe
May 4 - Weezer performs in Chicago, IL at the Aragon Ballroom in support of Make Believe
May 5 - Weezer performs in Indianapolis, IN at Vogue in support of Make Believe
May 10 - Make Believe is released.

October 3 - During a show at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, the band invited a fan up onstage to play the rhythm guitar for "Undone - The Sweater Song." The fan took advantage of this moment to attempt to get the band to play "Blast Off!" by beginning to play the intro to the song and sang the first four lines of the song before Rivers laughed and jokingly pushed him away from the mic.
October 24 - On the tenth anniversary of the The Rentals' first album's release Return of the Rentals, Matt Sharp announces he is bringing back The Rentals after a six year absence.
