"Acapulco" is an unreleased Weezer song. The song was originally known as "Puerto Vallarta."
Overview
"Acapulco" was first recorded as an acoustic instrumental during the DC Demos. It was later resurrected, with vocals, during the Maladroit sessions, and, when it failed to make the album's cut, again in 2002 as an Album 5 Demo. The DC Demo, Maladroit Demo, and Album 5 Demo versions were all released as mp3s at the band's official site, but the song remains unreleased officially.
Lyrics
The second Maladroit demo is missing the third verse and the backing vocals. The Early Album 5 demo only uses the first verse for all of the verses.
Beautiful girl
What're you doing?
All of the times
That I was there
You came down
In my arms
Told me things
No one knew
(Beautiful girl) Now you're gone
All of the times
That I was there
You came down
In my arms
Told me things
No one knew
(Beautiful girl) Now you're gone
