- 1969 - Marcos Siega, director of several Weezer music videos, is born.
- 1997 - Weezer opens for No Doubt in Council Bluff, NE at the Westfair Amphitheatre on their Tragic Kingdom Tour.
- 1999 - With the release of a cover of The Pixies' "Velouria", Weezer issues it's first release since their hiatus began after the failure of Pinkerton. It is also the first recording to feature Mikey Welsh.
- 2001 - Weezer performs in Toronto, ON, Canada at Ontario Places "Island Club" (102.1) on the Hooptie Tour.
- 2005 - Weezer performs in Paris, France at L'Olympia in support of Make Believe.
- 2006 - Rivers Cuomo finally graduates from Harvard.
