Weezer performed at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California on October 12, 2024 as part of the Voyage to the Blue Planet tour. Dinosaur Jr. and the Flaming Lips were the opening acts. Notably, this would be the last show longtime songwriter and instrumentalist Steven Drozd would preform with the Flaming Lips before announcing his departure from the band in late 2025.

Well, the #voyagetotheblueplanet tour reached its final stop, 10/12/24 @acrisurearena in Palm Desert, CA. 30 light years thru the galaxy with the nicest bunch of companions we could have hoped for, from our absolutely top notch crew, to the wonderful @flaminglips and @dinosaurjr families. And at every stop, an amazing sold out crowd of fans, singing along and going bananas! We really couldn’t have asked for a better tour - in fact, this was our best tour ever! After 30+ years on the road, we are so grateful to have reached new heights we could only have dreamed of back in the day. Thank you! #karlscorner
