Weezer performed at Cox Arena in San Diego, California on December 31, 2000. The band co-headlined with blink-182 and New Found Glory. The opening acts were Cut You Up, The Grim, and Lefty.

...Happy New Year! Today recording was suspended for a day, so that weezer could go down to San Diego and play a new year's show with Blink182, A New Found Glory, and Lefty. It was a lot of fun and weezer fans were out in force! There was even a group who were wearing some "I'm Here For Weezer" t-shirts they had made up special for the show!
