The Weezer Recording Chronology (WRC) is an attempt by Weezerpedia to create a successor to the Recording History, a detailed list of every demo, bootleg, and studio recording by the band Weezer and any directly associated bands, written by Karl Koch from the years of 2000 to 2011. Pages are separated by years.

This page details the year 2009. It contains the recording of Raditude, Death to False Metal, Pinkerton (Deluxe Edition) and Hurley.

Summer 2009

Raditude recording sessions at Ruby Red Productions, late June–early July

Recording sessions for Raditude continued at Ruby Red Productions in Santa Monica, California with Butch Walker producing and Jake Sinclair and Joe Zook engineering. These were the first (and possibly only) sessions with Josh Freese playing drums on the album. At least three songs, previously worked on with Jacknife Lee and Pat Wilson on drums, were redone from scratch and at least one new song ("The Girl Got Hot") was recorded.
