- 1995 - Several concerts on the World Domination Tour are cancelled when Matt Sharp is forced to return to the United States for a family health emergency. Rivers Cuomo, now stranded with the band in Hamburg, Germany, books studio time to record demos for his album concept Songs from the Black Hole.
- 2002 - Weezer performs at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY on the Hyper Extended Midget Tour.
- 2011 - Weezer releases their cover of the Barry Manilow-penned State Farm jingle, "Like a Good Neighbor."
- 2020 - Weezer (joined by producer Suzy Shinn) compete against Fall Out Boy on an episode of the game show Celebrity Family Feud (The episode would air in September).
