the end of 'SWS'

from Karl's '91 Journal: "late Wednesday 60 Wrong Sausages practice. Some new songs [played]. Seems like a split is inevitable". While a passing note from 12/5 adds: "i'm wrong, Rivers [is] just bummed in general", the reality of the band's split was looming. by mid December "SWS" was no more, and Rivers and Pat Wilson had dove headlong into a new flurry of 4 and 8 track demo recording. The new band had no name, no bass player , and no second guitar player yet, but by Feb 14th, 1992 would be rehearsing for the first time. By March '92 the name 'weezer' would be chosen and the first show would be played.
