On this hot dry Friday, Team Weezer has rendezvoused and even reconnoitered in Las Vegas, assembling from various locales via jets both large and small, to play the outdoor Beach Stage at the massive and fancy Mandalay Bay Resort/Casino ubersupermegaplex. Its a date with density, as heat, water, rock, roll, Rivers, Pat, Brian, Scott and a big pile of party people combine to make something greater than the sum of its parts, a weezer concert in the desert.
