2011/07/27 O2 Academy Drummer Cam!

...Awesome Drum Cam action! Check out the Brixton O2 Academy Drummer Cam video of Pat Wilson in action at the Brixton show July 6.

"This week O2 Academy TV gets a rare insight into the weird and wonderful world of Weezer drummer, Patrick Wilson.

Filmed during the band’s sold out gig at O2 Academy Brixton on 6th July, 2011, the piece starts with an introduction from Pat where he talks about discovering his passion for the drums through his aunt’s knitting needles, his top 3 bad drumming habits, and what it’s like being behind the drums and symbols of the ‘popular rock combo’.

The piece then switches to Pat’s drum kit, which was rigged up for the entirety of the gig with four cameras. Titled ‘Drummer Cam’, fans can intimately watch two full tracks; 'Say It Aint So' and 'The Good Life', from the view of Pat, his drums and symbols."
