09/13/04 theoretical crunk situation
...summer recording session, day 42. Today Rivers worked on his vocals, then Scott and Brian did some 'semi-gang' backing vocals, and finally Brian worked on lead guitar and solos. The song they were working on was one of the few that was still feeling sorta 'not quite there', and after this new stuff was layered on, its a lot more 'there'!
Looks like the recording work will extend beyone Rivers' departure for school on Thursday, with Pat, Brian and Scott using the following week or so to add various parts and overdubs that there wont be time for while Rivers is still here doing his vocal work, as well as several days set aside for Chad to clean everything up and bring the tracks up to their best.
