...Philadelphia radio station Y-100 is having their annual auction to raise money for AIDS reaserch, and this year theyve got a bunch of cool autographed weezer items up for auction. Check it out and help out a great cause! Also on auction are many other rock items signed by such bands as Creed. The auctions end on Saturday October 12th.

dateline Minnesota: according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune newspaper, Weezer's "The Lion And The Witch" EP was the number one album in Minnesota last week!

two shops that have LOTS of Lion and the Witch EPs still in stock are Houston TX's Cactus Music [on Westiemer and Gessner], and Raliegh NC's Record Exchange [on Hillsborough St]. Fans have reported plenty of copies available at both.

...radio note: Chicago's The Zone 94.7 had their nightly "pillow fight" tonight, in which two new songs battle it out via listeners' votes. Tonight (Tuesday Oct 8th), "Slave" beat out a new song by The Distillers to win the pillow fight championship. Now "Slave" will go on to face another new song on Wednesday! Chicago Weezer fans vote if you can!!!
