Carrie Bryden

Carrie Bryden sang and played synthesizer on the Rentals' 1999 Japanese tour in support of Seven More Minutes. She obtained her real estate license in 2002.

Patrick Carney

Patrick Carney is an American musician and producer best known as the drummer of the Black Keys. He performed drums on the Rentals album Lost in Alphaville (2014).

Rod Cervera

Rod Cervera was a founding member of the Rentals, playing guitar on the band's first two records, Return of the Rentals and Seven More Minutes, and touring with the band up through 1999.

Lauren Chipman

Lauren Chipman is a multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. She performed violin, viola, and piano during the Rentals' live shows from 2006–2007, and contributed keyboards and strings on The Last Little Life EP and Songs About Time. She is a credited co-writer on Songs About Time Chapter Four: Tokyo Blues.

Lizzy Ellison

Elisabeth "Lizzy" Ellison is a Portland musician, formerly of the band Radiation City, which opened for the Rentals on the band's 2015 tour. Ellison also performed keyboards and backing vocals as a member of the Rentals on said tour. She also provided additional vocals as a member of the Gentle Assassins Choir on Q36.

Justin Fisher

Justin Fisher is a musician best known for his work with the bands Nerf Herder and Psoma. He is a childhood friend of Rivers Cuomo. In 1999, he performed piano/keyboards and bass on the Rentals Japanese tour in support of Seven More Minutes.

Mike Fletcher

Mike Fletcher is a drummer. In addition to his work with the Rentals, he also performed in the band Supersport 2000. He joined the Rentals in 1995 as a touring drummer. He also appears in the music video for "Waiting."

Mick Flowers

Mick Flowers is a drummer, previously of the band Popsicko. He played drums on the Rentals' 1999 Japanese tour in support of Seven More Minutes.

Shawn Glassford

Shawn Glassford is a musician best known for his work as a member of the band Strfkr. He played bass and synth on the Rentals' 2015 tour in support of Lost in Alphaville.

Ted Gowans

Ted Gowans is a musician who previously played guitar in Tegan and Sara's backing band. He played guitar on the Rentals' 2015 tour in support of Lost in Alphaville.

Tom Grimley

Tom Grimley is a musician, engineer, and producer. He co-founded the label W.I.N. Records and ran Poop Alley Studios from 1991–1997. He co-founded the Rentals and worked as a producer on the band's first album, Return of the Rentals. He also played Moog synthesizers on ROTR as well as on the band's subsequent tour.

Rachel Haden

Rachel Haden is a multi-instrumentalist. One of the triplet daughters of jazz bassist Charlie Haden, she previously played bass with the band That Dog (alongside her sister, Petra) and provided lead vocals on the Weezer song "I Just Threw Out the Love of My Dreams." She provided vocals on the track "Move On" from Return of the Rentals and later joined the band from 2006–2007, providing vocals, bass, and keyboards on The Last Little Life EP. On tour, she and the band covered "I Just Threw Out the Love of My Dreams."

Petra Haden

Petra Haden is a multi-instrumentalist. One of the triplet daughters of jazz bassist Charlie Haden, she previously played bass with the bands That Dog (alongside her sister, Rachel), Tito & Tarantula, the Decemberists, and If by Yes. She contributed violin and vocals to Return of the Rentals and contributed vocals to Seven More Minutes.

Josh Hager

Josh Hager is a musician. He played guitar on the band's 1999 Japanese tour in support of Seven More Minutes. He later contributed to Matt Sharp's solo albums and, since 2014, has toured as a member of Devo.

Dan Joeright

Dan Joeright played with the Rentals from 2006 to 2008. He played drums on The Last Little Life EP and the multimedia project Songs About Time. The band used his home studio (dubbed 'Outer Space Studio') to record The Last Little Life EP. He is also credited with drum programming on "It's Time to Come Home" and additional percussion on "The Future" from the album Lost in Alphaville.

Patti King

Patti King is a musician, formerly of the band Radiation City, which opened for the Rentals on the band's 2015 tour. King also provided keyboards and vocals as a member of the Rentals on said tour.

Holly Laessig

Holly Laessig is a singer-songwriter best known as one of two lead vocalists for the band Lucius (alongside Jess Wolfe). Laessig and Wolfe provided vocals on the Rentals album Lost in Alphaville.
