"Little Annie Rooney" is a song written by Irish singer Michael Nolan in 1889.[1] Rivers Cuomo recorded a short cover of the song's chorus (under the title "He's My Sweetheart," or "Ode to Pat Finn"[2]) in the early 90s.

Overview
"He's My Sweetheart" was recorded in 1992[3] or 1993.[2] For this cover, Cuomo altered the genders of the song's pronouns and replaced the name "Annie Rooney" with "Patrick Finn", a friend of Cuomo's who notably introduced each of the original members of Weezer to one another.[4]
The song was listed by Cuomo among his 4 and 5-star demos from 1993 in 2008, and the demo was first heard by fans when it leaked online through the demo storefront on riverscuomo.com on November 7, 2020. The song was made available as a single-quantity purchase a few days later upon the store's launch on November 9, before being made available for purchase by all as part of the demo compilation Alone IV: The Blue-Pinkerton Years on November 22.

He's my sweetheart, I'm his beau
He's my Patrick, I'm his Joe
Soon we'll marry, never to part
Little Patrick Finn is my sweetheart
