MRN 2.0

IT'S POSSIBLE V29 OF THE MOBILE APP IS AVAILABLE IN 19 COUNTRIES to anyone with an android device now. This is called open testing and can be found here.

Flutter and mobile app programming is new to me, so progress will be slow for a while.

Android App

v30: beginnings of a music player
v29: mention, tap to profile, black theme

an open test version should be available soon once google reviews it??

This is my focus for now. The Android test app was available to the first 100 members of MRN 2.0 who provided a valid email address. All 100 slots are now filled. As we move through the various testing phases, we'll be able to add more users who have registered for a 2.0 account using a gmail account.

Instructions for Android Test Users:

Please share your crash data with me if you can by emailing lisa@riverscuomo.com.

Ensure you are using the latest version of the App by confirming the icon appears on your device as me on the Blue Album cover and is named Mr. Rivers.

To update to the latest version of the app, you will need to uninstall the current app and install the latest version. If you cannot see the app in your Play Store library, access the app again here. You will only have access to this beta app if you log in to the Play Store using the same gmail address of your original MRN 2.0 account.

MRN 2.0 Web App

I'm not spending much time on this one so it frequently becomes unusable.

Registration for a 2.0 account is available through the MRN 2.0 Web App. There is a rudimentary chat app there, but the site is no longer being supported as I work toward migrating to mobile applications.

A few points of caution:

  • 2.0 is not yet connected to your 1.0 account.
  • Your email address might be visible to everyone.
  • There is a 90% chance that your 2.0 account will not persist for long.
  • Any messages or other work you create there will be lost.

iOS App

The App is available only on the Android platform at this time. Unfortunately, you can't deploy an app to Apple's App store from a Windows computer. When the android app is more or less done, I'll switch to Kyoko's mac and try to figure out how to deploy from there.

RiverTube

RiverTube is not yet accessible to web app or iOS users. A temporary workaround may be available here, but I can’t guarantee its availability or functionality.
