Overview
Big Data's Alan Wilkis said of the song, "Lyrically, 'Snowed In' is inspired by Edward Snowden, who famously and controversially leaked classified information about the NSA's surveillance programs to the media. Rivers and I envisioned the character speaking from the perspective of the NSA, alternating between his own internal monologue and his public statements to the press. The character makes assurances that everything will be ok, as if sometimes speaking to himself and sometimes to everybody."[1]

Lyrics
Got myself in a bad situation
Please understand my motivation
This is for your protection
You can say anything that you want to
I won’t ever hold it against you
Until you need a correction
Baby, I told you I’d be there
No need for you to feel so scared
(Everybody)
Baby, you know that I’ll be there
Don’t believe all the things that he told you
I can feel every little thing that you do
Guess I’m just Mr. Sensitive
Whistleblowing is an act of aggression
So he better run cuz I’m gonna teach him a lesson
Forgive the vulgar expression
Baby, I told you I’d be there
No need for you to feel so scared
(Everybody)
Baby, you know that I’ll be there
Baby, I told you I’d be there
No need for you to feel so scared
(Everybody)
Baby, you know that I’ll be there
