Overview

"We Don't Have to Torture Ourselves" was written by Rivers Cuomo in early 2000. The song is first known to have been demoed by Weezer during rehearsals at Cole Rehearsal Studios in Los Angeles on May 3, 2000, and again in July of that year on the Summer 2000 Tour (likely during a soundcheck).[1] The song has never been heard by fans.
