Hey Peeps

Uploading pictures

Make sure to follow the guidelines for uploading personal pictures/Aboutme pictures. I renamed your user picture to Aboutme - User-Bleed0range.jpg. If you want to change your picture, upload a file to that same name. Help keep Weezerpedia organized. --Soupandballoons (admin) 10:08, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Sorry, I didn't see a guide that tells me what to do to upload a user image. Is there some kind of central place for that on here besides "Style Guide?" I may have missed it if it is in there. I recommend doing what many other wikis do, when a new person signs up edit their talk page with a pre-formatted or styled or whatever you want to call it message that links to some essential "tips" for getting started on the wiki. I've seen that done on a few other wikis and it seems to help. You know, a welcome message of sorts. --Bleed0range 01:18, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

equipment nav template

hey. i think it would be really cool to get pictures in the equipment nav template. usually when you click on an image, it takes you to the file page for it. but we have a "clickpic" template that lets images be links to other stuff. (the band member boxes on the main page are an example). I was toying around with getting some linked images into the template, but I ended up messing it up. I changed it back to normal and saved a draft of the thing I was working on here: Weezerpedia:Drafts:Equipment template. If you can figure out how to do that, that would be awesome. Clickpic images only appear exactly as they're sized, however, so you'll need to scale any image to the correct size. I scaled all those to 150 px height. I think all the images we put in the template should be landscape for sake of aesthetics.

feel free to not do this at all if you don't feel like it. --MyNameIsJason 18:30, 15 January 2011 (EST)

  • I think it's a cool idea if it works, I'll have to play with it and see if I can make it work. But priority one is just to finish the equipment history in general. Which will take awhile of course. But I like that idea! - Bleed0range
    • I can't remember how to do the username/timestamp on the wiki lol, it's been awhile since I actively edited a wiki. - Bleed0range
You end a post with --~~~~ and it puts your signature. There's even a button you can hit when you're editing. Up near the bold and italics and everything, the second to last one. Also, we usually just indent in talk page conversations. Use colons to do that. --MyNameIsJason 16:48, 17 January 2011 (EST)

Featured song mp3 headline

Hey Daniel. Hope you're well. I just updated the Featured Song, but I've run into a snag with the headline template. No matter how I input the link and text, I can't seem to get it to work. I saw you made the most recent edit to the template prior to me - any chance you can figure out what I'm doing wrong? --MyNameIsJason (talk) 00:19, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
