"A Ballad for the Fallen Soldier" (formerly "I'll Love You Every Day") is a song by Weezer.

Rivers Cuomo is first known to have demoed the song, under the title "I'll Love You Every Day", to his phone's recording app on March 27, 2015. This recording, featuring Cuomo singing over acoustic guitar, was released on November 23, 2020, as part of the compilation Alone XII: The White Year. Full demos were later released on December 13, 2020.

The song was first heard by fans when it was performed live by Weezer, as an instrumental, on October 18, 2017 at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium, wherein it appeared on the setlist under the title "I'll Love You Every Day". The song was listed at subsequent concerts under the title "A Ballad for the Fallen Soldier", and was performed for the remainder of the Feels Like Summer Tour in Europe in October of 2017. It followed the song "Happy Hour" at all concerts in which it was played.
