Lover of All That Exists is a 7"-vinyl picture disc compilation that features Scott Shriner's only officially-released song as a solo artist, "Watch the Shadows." It was released on May 11, 2012 as part of the promotional campaign for the paperback edition of Johnny Future, a novel by Steve Abee.
"Watch the Shadows" is the A-side of the compilation. It is credited to Shriners, a moniker the Weezer bassist has not used before or since Lover. The double B-side features songs by Christian Martucci and Ghost of the Record. The three-track release had a limited edition release of only 500 picture discs.
Shriner headlined a performance at the Last Book Store in Los Angeles, CA in conjunction with the release of Lover of All that Exists. This remains his only solo live performance to date, and the Shriners project is on indefinite hiatus as of 2014.

"L.A. Girlz" is the eighth track from The White Album. Though not an official single, it was released two months ahead of The White Album and promoted with a music video.
The song was originally written by Weezer guitarist Brian Bell, and later revised by Cuomo. Musician Luther Russell, who has frequently produced and co-written songs for Bell's band The Relationship, is also credited as a co-writer. On June 18, 2019, Bell posted a clip of his original demo to his Instagram account.
Rivers Cuomo's lyrics for the song contain several references to literature and pop-culture, including Lewis Carroll's Jabberwocky poem ("gyre and gimble in the wabe"), the 2014 film Whiplash, and the characters of Dante and Beatrice from The Divine Comedy. A lyric from the song's bridge ("Does anybody love anybody...") had been incorporated into several different Weezer demos before ending up in "L.A. Girlz," and is sourced from a 2015 Cuomo song sketch. The "mixing ammonia and bleach" lyric was based on a real incident from Cuomo's first job at Jonathan's, a fast-food restaurant formerly on campus at the University of Connecticut.
"L.A. Girlz" was premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show on February 17, 2016, and Weezer debuted it live on March 22 at a KROQ Red Bull SoundSpace private radio show.

I recorded all the instruments myself, but I had help in producing it from my friend Tony Lash, and he's a very thorough engineer. We took a lot of time in order to assure a really smooth sound... I just felt like I had these personalities on the drums and guitar and bass, why not see if they made a nice band?
