Background
"Why Can't You Shut Your Mouth?" was demoed as the 15th track on Deliverance at Hand!, a collection of demos of potential Red Album songs. A booklet of the lyrics for Deliverance at Hand! were obtained and shared online by user okaybrazilian in 2018. A 2007 demo of the song (compiled June 21, 2007, according to the file's metadata) was leaked online on November 7, 2020.
