"You Might Think" is the sixth track and the lead single from the 1984 album Heartbeat City by The Cars. Weezer covered the song for the 2011 film Cars 2.
Overview
"You Might Think" was written by Cars frontman Ric Ocasek who, prior to Weezer's cover of the song, produced Weezer's self-titled Blue and Green albums. Weezer's cover of "You Might Think" first appeared in commercials for Cars 2 in early May of 2011 [1], prior to the soundtrack's June 14 release and the film's June 18 release.
