Outloud Tour Day 6: Sunrise Theater, Ft. Lauderdale, FL

...today we cruised on over to the Sunrise Theater, which we discovered was built back in the 70's to Frank Sinatra's specifications for "the perfect size and shape for a performing arts theater" Was it? Well, the semi-circle formation was certainly interesting, and the show indeed rocked down to the ground, with help from the ultra stoked audience who sent up 6 or more daring folks on stage past the sleepy security guards. They were each hustled off to the side shortly after starting their "Look, I'm next to Rivers" dances.

...backstage, things were a bit messy, as a main water line backed up, rendering all bathrooms inoperable, and sending a cascade of semi-toxic water all over the floor everywhere. We blamed it on the ghost of Sinatra, who clearly wasnt digging the dad-blasted noise that these kids were putting out.

...so far both Ozma and the Get Up Kids have been delivering great shows every night, really stoking the audiences and sounding wonderful. Arent you glad you voted them onto the tour?

...speaking of votes, Take this new poll! ...Tell us what shows you are attending, or if you cant make it. Thanks!
