The "Caffeine Saga" is a five part song written by Patrick Wilson and Pat Finn.

Overview

The "Caffeine Saga" was written and recorded in spring 1993 in Finn's apartment, nicknamed 'The Blue Diamond Terrace'. It was a suite of five songs, all assumedly centered around caffeine.[1]

The first section is a short rock song, with lyrics talking about trying not to "take a shit" after drinking something caffeinated, and the second and third parts are slower synth-based sections. The fourth and fifth sections are unknown, as no recordings of them have surfaced.

The first three sections were played by Wilson during a uStream livestream, where he played other rarities and home demos.[2]
