Overview

"Clarinet Waltz" was recorded by Cuomo at Los Angeles Valley College in April of 1994 (Likely April 24, according to the Catalog O' Riffs[1]). Originally released to fans online in the early 2000s, the song eventually appeared on Alone III: The Pinkerton Years in 2011. The book The Pinkerton Diaries credits an "Unknown LAVC pianist" accompanying Cuomo.

An additional rehearsal recording of the song, labeled "Clarinet Waltz- slow," appeared as part of the digital compilation Alone IV: The Blue-Pinkerton Years, released in 2020.
