Muppets: The Green Album is a cover album of songs from The Muppets, released to promote the then-upcoming 2011 movie "The Muppets". Weezer recorded a cover of Paul Williams & Kenneth Ascher's "Rainbow Connection" for the album, with Hayley Williams of Paramore sharing lead vocals with Rivers Cuomo.

The album was announced at Disney's annual D23 expo in 2009 and was planned for a early 2010 release,[1] [2] but was delayed to 2011 for unknown reasons.
