2914 Urban Avenue

The guest room I moved into in Santa Monica.

There were chocolate labs there.

It was a loft.

6145 Rodgerton Drive

The house I lived in around the time of the Green album. You can see it in the old 2000-2001 web clips from dot com. Around the original Hollywoodland development. It’s twisty and steep up there.

My Home in the 80's

google maps view

Where I lived from end of 6th through 12th grades.

It's the closest thing I had to a home, growing up.

When I was 13 or so I found a brand new pack of cigarettes on the road and went behind my house to try to smoke a cigarette. I took one puff, coughed intensely, and stopped.

Santa Monica College

I went there in the early 90's, first as an English major, then as a music major. I wrote the Buddy Holly chorus melody while walking across one of the quads.

I performed at the 2018 Homecoming halftime show, along with a group of other “All-Star Alumni.”

The Amherst House

2226 Amherst Avenue, West LA. Right on the border with Santa Monica. Close to Taco Bell, Chevron. We shot the Say It Ain’t So music video here.

We moved in shortly after Weezer formed in March of 1992. I moved out of there at the end of 1993.

The Shack

The original shack was off to the side of Justin's house, on Chaffeeville Road in Storrs, CT. That's where our high school bands would practice.

Here's the view on google maps if you want to see it.

Isn't Connecticut beautiful?

Ha....I just noticed a horrific roadkill if you turn back over your left shoulder and look. Very Connecticut.

Then I also had a shack outside my home in Malibu during the Red album years. It had a wooden sign hanging above the entrance that read “Peter’s room.” I had a poster of a pig hanging in the room along with some of my childhood heroes. I also had lots of Harmonicas, a drum set and guitars. Everything a growing rock star need
