"Mr. Hyde"[1] (or simply "Hyde") is a demo written by Rivers Cuomo in contention for what would eventually become Weezer's ninth album, Everything Will Be Alright in the End. It is not currently in circulation among fans.
Background
Reported to have been played for fans at focus groups prior to the release of Everything Will Be Alright in the End, "Mr. Hyde" is purported to have been written about Cuomo discussing his wife with a therapist, on how she can be so nice but can also be a complete monster.[citation needed] Despite this seemingly dark subject matter, on the Army of Babies fan forums, user Bleed0range described it as "actually a funny song".
