The Weezer Recording Chronology (WRC) is an attempt by Weezerpedia to create a successor to the Recording History, a detailed list of every demo, bootleg, and studio recording by the band Weezer and any directly associated bands, written by Karl Koch from the years of 2000 to 2011. Pages are separated by years.

This page details the years 2024 to 2025. It contains the recording of "Here Comes My Girl" and Weezer's untitled Christmas EP.

"Here Comes My Girl", ~April 2024

Around April 2024, Weezer reunited with Mark Rankin (producer of The Teal Album) to produce a cover of Tom Petty's "Here Comes My Girl" for the TV series Bad Monkey.[1] The song "Blue Skies" was also recorded, according to Rivers Cuomo.[2]

Untitled Christmas EP, May—June 2024

On May 25, 2024, Cuomo posted pictures of himself and Klas Åhlund inside a studio, claiming that he was recording guitar tracks for what was assumed to be Weezer's twentieth album.[3] On June 2, 2024, Cuomo began teasing songs he had just recorded with Klas, hinting towards the songs being for a new Christmas EP,[4][5] which had been mentioned earlier in September 2023.[6]
