Overview
"Christmas Celebration" is the second of two original Christmas-themed songs written by Rivers Cuomo, and recorded by Weezer, in late 2000 during early sessions for The Green Album. The song was performed a handful of times at shows in late 2000, including Goat Punishment shows, that year's edition of Los Angeles radio station KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas, and the New Year's eve opening slot for Blink 182.

Lyrics
Christmas celebration
All around the nation
Won’t you stay with me tonight
‘Cause I’m running out of fight
And the pageantry is such a bore
Carolers are singing
Registers ka-ching-ing
And the presents are in place
But I’d rather eat some mace
'Cause the egg-nog always makes me sick
You know how the story goes
You’ve seen it all before
That man is so obese
That he can’t get out the door
Christmas stupefaction
I’m begging for some action
And the ringing in my ears
Is the sound of Christmas cheer
Come to knock me screaming overboard
