Appearances

Overview

"I Hear Bells" was written and recorded in October 2000 in contention for the band's third album, the self-titled Green Album. It was demoed at Rivers Cuomo's home studio on October 29 and November 13[1] but did not make the cut for the album. "I Hear Bells" remained unheard until it was released as a bonus track on iTunes Pass: The Weezer Raditude Club, an iTunes-exclusive version of Raditude.

Lyrics

I hear bells on the street
Ring for you, ring for me
Now you're gone, I wonder who
Will come back to love me true
Now you're gone, I wonder who
Will be with me

Count the hours, count the days
Since you've gone so far away
Now you're gone, I wonder who
Will come back to love me true
Now you're gone, I wonder who
Will be with me

The tears are in my eyes
It comes as no surprise
You couldn't believe the lies
I was telling you

Count the hours, count the days
Since you've gone so far away
Now you're gone, I wonder who
Will come back to love me true
Now you're gone, I wonder who
Will be with me

The tears are in my eyes
It comes as no surprise
You couldn't believe the lies
I was telling you

Now you're gone, I wonder who
Will come back to love me true
Now you're gone, I wonder who
Will be with me
Now you're gone, I wonder who
Will be with me
