This song is part of the "Time Is Running Out" lineage of songs

"Learning to Love" is an unreleased song by Rivers Cuomo, originally demoed in 2004 during pre-production on Weezer's fifth album, Make Believe. It is a presumptive reworking of the demos "Simple Fisherman" and "Time Is Running Out."

Overview

"Learning to Love" was recorded by Rivers Cuomo at S.I.R. Rehearsal Studios in Los Angeles on July 3, 2004 during pre-production on Weezer's fifth album, Make Believe.[1] The song is only known to have been documented once in the Weezer Recording History, which lists it with the Catalog O' Riffs number 588, shared by previous demos "Simple Fisherman" and "Time Is Running Out," though the Recording History does not note any such connection, and Catalog numbers are documented inconsistently between sources, so it is not known with certainty whether the songs are actually related.
