"Simple Fisherman" is a song by Rivers Cuomo, originally demoed in 2004 during pre-production on Weezer's fifth album, Make Believe.

Overview
Rivers Cuomo first demoed "Simple Fisherman" at his home in January of 2004.[1] Cuomo continued working on demos of the song at S.I.R. Rehearsal Studios in Los Angeles during pre-production on Weezer's fifth album, Make Believe. The song was later reworked with new lyrics under the title "Time Is Running Out."
