Overview
"Punk Rock Girl" was written by Cuomo in March of 1993 as a tribute to the band That Dog,[1] who previously wrote a song by the same title. Cuomo uploaded handwritten lyrics for the song in the early 2000s, but the song itself went unheard by fans until November 22, 2020, when it was sold as part of the digital compilation Alone IV: The Blue-Pinkerton Years.
