"Spell It Out" is a song written by Rivers Cuomo. Originally intended for OK Human, the song was ultimately removed from the album's track list. It was also considered for SZNZ: Spring, but was scrapped from it as well.

Overview

The existence of the song was referenced on September 22, 2020 on Riverchat. Cuomo mentioned "big changes" were being made to OK Human and that planned songs were being cut, specifically the songs "Spell It Out" and "Everything Happens for a Reason" [1].

On October 9, Rivers sung a few verses of the song live on TikTok [2]. On October 12, when a fan asked about the song on the chat website Riverchat, Cuomo responded, "I think it'll be on the next next next album. It didn't come out that great on piano with an orchestra. It's more of an acoustic guitar song." [3]
